How long does it take you to finish a project?
The time frame varies, depending on the length and style. I provide a timeframe when I quote a project.
What is your process?
I use a collaborative process with the author to ensure we’re in sync. I first speak with the client to understand their vision and goals. I then create a few character design concepts, based on the themes, style and vision we discussed. The next stage is refining the chosen designs. I then finalize the illustrations and deliver artwork on schedule until they’re completed. Revisions are included up to a point.
What are your fees and payment process?
The fee depends on the scope and length of the project. I provide a free estimate upfront, which includes a fee per page and/or for the entire project. I am flexible with payment options, but will usually split payment into installments based on work milestones, with a final payment on delivery.
What information do you need in order to provide a quote?
It’s helpful if I can get a breakdown of the story concept or a short synopsis and a copy of the manuscript. I’ll also need to know the size and format of the book (graphic novel, comic book, mini comic, single page illustrations, etc.) the number of illustrated pages, and an example of the style of artwork you’d like to use. If you have visual references you’d like to provide, that would be helpful as well.

Contact me so we can discuss your project. I’m happy to get on a call to discuss how we can work together and to provide a free estimate. Once you decide to move forward, I’ll send a contract with the terms, deliverables, and timeframe. We then arrange for the initial deposit and get started!
